double sided hank
I found this the nicest sounding of all hanks I made so far and with the option to play it on both sides, it’s even better. I would like to sell this one here anyway, but haven’t found a cheap shipping solution from thailand to the rest of the world.
Yeah, I think because it’s double sided it’s harder to tune.
Beautiful and unique design for a hank drum. You said it was harder to tune the smaller drum, but I would just like to ask if the fact that it is a double ended drum added to this tuning problem?

the smaller tongues are more difficult then the bigger ones for shure. Actually I tried finding empty propane tanks but couldn’t get hold of any here in Thailand. So I tried something diferent. You have to be careful not to cut too long and not too short. Tuning those little tanks is much more difficult compard to the bigger brothers.
Now thats creative, and a great size for a take along drum. Was it difficult to cut the smaller tongues? Gloria
Thank you, it took me quiet a while to find those little tanks. The smalletst is 3.5 kilo and the little bigger one is 4.5. I found even smaller ones then that. There all air condition liquid tanks and sound fantastic. Keep looking!
Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could find some tanks that size. It looks much easier to handle.
