Many people that want certain rims and tires will go to any cost to get them and that cost can be a lot. Some people will spend up to $2000 a rim and that is crazy. Then you still have to buy the tires but I would think since you are spending $8000 they would give you a free pair of tires. So if you are looking for rims I would say look for something cheaper.

If you have already cleaned your car then that means that your tires and rims should be looking really nice and shiny. If not then you need to work on that because your tires and rims should be cleaned at least once a week to keep them in good shape and looking good unless you want your rims to look all dirty and muddy I would recommend cleaning them.

Wash, clean, polish, and protect and that is what needs to be done to the whole car not just the rims that cost 8 grand. You will want to wash the whole car really good and then get started on washing the rims and tires then you will clean them then you will polish and after that you will protect them with whatever protecting agent that you have.

You should clean your rims and tires at least once a week so your tires and rims are always looking nice and clean for the road.

You should always wash the body of the car first and do all of that is needed. After you have washed your car and cleaned and all that you will want to start washing and cleaning your rims. You will want to do this one rim and tire at a time so you get them really clean and looking nice.

Most people will go around the car and spray all the tires and rims saying that letting it sit there is helping. Actually it is not helping and the pros say that you shouldn’t do this because it lets the spray or foam sit there to long. They say that you should only do one rim and tire at a time so that they will look their best when you are done washing and cleaning. You want your car to shine and look nice so I would take any advice that I could get. That would be listening to any person that knew what they were talking about when they said to only clean one rim and tire at a time.

So if you had any questions that probably just covered them all so just remember to wash one rim and tire at a time and your car will look its best.

Well the custom and modified car show season will soon be upon us…

For those of you unaware the law is changing for the hiring of 9+ seater limos here in the UK, they will now have to obtain a COIF (Certificate of initial fitness) or in layman’s terms they have to go and pass the same class MOT as a coach and run under the same restrictions. So for any company that runs a Hummer or Ford Excursion limousine you will have to undergo some major modifications to pass this kind of test. Before you panic and think these cars cant be safe let me reassure you that they are as most of the modifications are to improve the turning circle of these cars and the seating inside and its this that’s leads us back to the show scene.

So with this in mind and of coarse myself being into the American modified car scene and also designing and building cars for the MTV’s pimp my ride uk I will be let loose on our flagship car the Triple 888 hummer limo. This limousine has 8 wheels, 6 at the rear on 3 axels and 2 at the front, at the moment the car is classed as a 16 seater, but only because of the seating arrangement. So with a blank canvas so to speak I plan to turn this into a 20 seater when the car goes off to be COIF’d and with an updated state of the art audio and visual system to rival some of the UK’s top show cars and plan to get the car to be the UK’s loudest limo.

So with all these things going on we at HummerHummer thought we would get in on the UK’s car shows this year, whether you into the American or the hot hatch car scene this car will fit right in.

So what shows will you be at I hear you ask, well to kick the year into gear I plan to be at WHEELS DAY on Friday the 2nd of April, as the name of the show states its any thing with wheels, some of the strangest cars have had there debut at this event, ED CHINA showed of his street legal sofa that was based on a mini, yep this sofa can be driven on the road and has been featured in UK TV shows as TOP GEAR and FIFTH GEAR, you can expect to see from tacky to wacky and the mild to wild in all forms of motorised transport, if you haven’t attended this show before then do go, they are very family orientated event and im sure you will have a great day out.

Another event on the short list is AUTO SOUND AND STYLE which is to be held at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry on Sunday 7th March 2010. With some of the world’s finest modified cars expected to be on show, Auto Sound and Style will also host the first round of the 2010 UK Sound-Off competitions organised by the European Mobile Media Association (www.emma-uk.com), as well as car clinics where consumers can receive practical advice on how to further improve their vehicles.

With the HummerHummer office just a stones throw from the world famous ACE CAF… where fifth gear present there TV show from we will be there in force throughout the year, this is also the starting point for the CHELSEA CRUISE which is a monthly event held on the last Saturday of each month which starts at 4pm.
